The National Office of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship [OCF] recently announced that it will sponsor its annual Summer Leadership Institute for college students August 16-19, 2017.
The Institute will be held at the Saint Iakovos Retreat Center, Kansasville, WI.
Institute workshops will consider a number of “Orthodox special topics,” including “How Can Beauty Save the World,” “American Orthodox Piety,” and “Orthodoxy in Conversation.” Practical ministry presentations on “The Ministry of Listening,” “Peace in Conflict,” and “Facilitating Great Discussions” also will be offered.
The $300.00 Institute registration fee includes lodging, meals and program materials. On-line registration is now available. Participants are responsible for travel expenses and arrangements.
In related news, OCF is now accepting applications for its 2017-2018 network of District Student Leaders, who work closely under its Regional Student Leaders to link chapters in their area, plan events, and help connect students to the OCF network. On-line applications are being accepted through May 17, 2017.
