Bishop John Celebrated the Vespers of Holy Friday in St. Nicholas Cathedral

In the afternoon on Great and Holy Friday, April 14, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk led the Great Vespers with the bringing-out of the Holy Plashchanitsa of Christ in St. Nicholas Cathedral. His Grace was co-served by cathedral clergy. During the singing of “Thy Noble Joseph” the Holy Plaschnitsa was processed to the center of the cathedral.

Afterwards, Bishop John led the Small Compline with the Canon of the “Lament of the Holy Theotokos”.
