Dn. Joel Brady was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on Sunday, January 8, 2017.   He was married to Margaret (Meg) Ogden in August of 2016, and then ordained to the Holy Diaconate on Thanksgiving morning (2016) at St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Allison Park, PA, where he has been serving.

His Eminence, the Most Reverend Melchisedek, Archbishop of Pittsburgh and the Diocese of Western Pennsylvania, celebrated the ordination for His Eminence, the Most Reverend Michael, Archbishop of New York and the Diocese of New York and New Jersey, as weather did not permit Archbishop Michael to travel for the ordination.  This ordination was also celebrated at St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.  Archpriest Michael Senyo, parish rector, remarked how much he has enjoyed having Fr. Joel and Matushka Meg in the parish as they have begun their new life together, and looks forward to their further contribution, once assigned to a parish.  Members of Fr. Joel’s family were present for the ordination as well.

Axios!  May God grant Fr. Joel and Matushka Meg many blessed years as they await assignment toward the next chapter of their vocational journey!
