There’s still time to register for the first “Youth Council,” slated to take place during the 90th annual Convention of the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America [FOCA] in suburban Rosemont, IL July 22-25, 2016.
“We’re looking forward to this great youth event, which will include fellowship, education, worship, outings in the city, and time with our hierarchs,” said Andrew Boyd, who heads the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry. “All youth—sixth graders through high school seniors—are welcome to attend, and they need not be FOCA members to do so!”

Detailed information, including prices, financial assistance, schedule—including “commuter” options for locals—and registration is available on-line.
In addition to the FOCA and OCA Youth Department, the Diocese of the Midwest will be cosponsoring the unprecedented gathering. Priest Benjamin Tucci of Saint Mary’s Cathedral, Minneapolis, is overseeing the exciting program.
